Rotated the tires & checked the brakes......getting her ready for inspection on Thursday. Oh and I also took her for a quick spin! Had to, the day was PERFECT for it!

lets see. . . . . i bolted the motor in, bolted the tranny in hooked up part of the wiring harness and am confused as to y i dont have a fuse box, been workin on it since 8 this morn

Glanced at it while walking out of the garage this morning.
Then watched as the door rose to reveal its sexy goodness when I got home from work. I drove it Saturday morning though. It aint broke, so I can't fix it!!!! |

i spent all day cleanning my car. tommorow after work shes gonna get some more tlc. lof, rotate balance, tranny and diff flush. then with in the next 2 weeks i should have my body kit and rb exhaust on the other tii. then i can drive a inspected car untill novenber lol

well after a month of having it apart from haveing to change the steering rack ,I got as far as putting the swaybar back in and found out whoever took it off before me had stripped the bolt. now all i need to do is rundown to the hardware store. it will probly be another month befor that happens thow.

bought tires, am trying to find a new turbo, kicked the starter (it was on strike... put an end to THAT notion!), and tried to get it to run correctly when cold... i wish i didnt have to rely on it as a DD.

yeah soo i just got the lof done today had to change mpv sway bar links and bushing while in the middle of doing my **** so i had no will to do any of the rest of the ****. maybe tommorow

Just wet sanded a little more going to do the $50 paint job. Gloss white.

oh, and cleaning various switches, as well as breaking 2 of the 3 hood latch bolts, drilling them out, and re-tapping them.

Got my BACV working. Bad transistor in the ECU. I then remembered I had a spare N327 ECU so I swapped that in, started the car, kept the BACV open to the atmosphere so that when itwas working, the car would run like crap and I would deffinatly know that its working. hehe. I do things backwards sometimes.
Now im working on regrounding the ECU. I just need to put the pins back in the plugs to the ECU and hopefully the 3800rpm hesitation will be gone. |

I put my FEED sideskirts on. Actually I made Sinful put them on and I watched. Since he dosent have an FD anymore I figure he misses them so I'm gracious enough to let him work on mine. I know, I know, hold your applause please its flattering.

I took my n/a fc to the car wash, then to the dyno and made 223 rwhp in 96 deg heat, so it was an ok day. Today i am putting in a stillway drag shifter and camber plates for track day on tuesday..

well... friday I removed the TII starter since it was shitty again just to find that the spring-loaded contacts (whatever you call the little bars that replace the brushes) are just about completely worn down, so i steal the top cap and rotating bit (as well as the engaging solenoid) from an NA starter, reinstall, and it works great.
Sunday was putting together new OMP lines and inspecting the OMP itself (damn rain or i would have replaced the rad too) |

Resurfaced brake rotors goign on today, and starting to install the corksport FMIC and swap to a koyo radiator, put the ported WG exhaust housing on a new (to me) turbo after the compressor retaining bolt on my T04 hybrid came off and chewed the crap out of the compressor wheel... and if i have time, swap a FD torsen LSD into the TII diff case. Work's cut out for me the next few days

That was at 9100.. The peak power was actually higher than that at a lower rpm, but the dyno rpm pickup was very intermittent, the graph disappeared going upward at 220' ish and then reappeard at the 223 going downward... The trailing spark is breaking up, I need 2 msd's on it..

I need a lsd for the rear diff, being a GX(se), it's a peg leg diff.. It roasts the 225/50/16 yoko a 520 pretty damn good.. I have a still way drag shifter in the car, it was cool for the beginning but what annoying on the highway rattling like made..

yesterday, pulled both motors.
one at like 5pm, other at like 4am. tonight, replaced the injectors on the good block, redid some vacuum lines, swapped the good tranny on the good motor, and dropped it into the car. tomorrow, hooking all that **** back up and buying some fluids. |
Last night I wanted to hook up my Lokar stuff to my carb: throttle cable, bracket, and kickdown cable. Instead I spent my time ripping out the stock throttle cable (that little firewall clip was a bitch), and making a small plate to keep the new firewall connector from falling through the square hole.
Then torrential downpours start, while simultaneously we started getting presumably prank calls from someone claiming to be pregnant with my baby, and threatening to bomb our house. Yay! |
