i have a firm belief that "camshafts" have no place in an engine!

that car is clean give me the chassis

if you had all those problems then you got a bad engine from the start. i've had zero engine*PROBLEMS* with the two sr's ive bought

AND WTF YOU HAVE NO SUSPENSION ON THAT THING! they handle good but not with stock old crappy suspension!

its super clean, in fact the only thing wrong with the chasis is that black scuff on the front bumper, a 1 inch crack in the dash and the drivers side bolster has a small bit of wear. as far as the suspension im ordering coilovers next weekend, still need an exahust, that open downpipe is a bit too loud, ive been thinking about either the blitz nur spec or the apxi hybrid megaphone. you were right, i paid quite a bit for the engine and when it came to the shop there was ash all in it, the wiring harness looked burnt, ic couplers melted but we figured it was a small engine fire, fixed the harness and put it in the car. went to crank it over and found out the camshaft had been cracked and scored the cam journal, valves floated and yeah, new everything went into that head. it pulls stong for a stock turbo but its just not as fun as the fb was. speed is fun and all but the fb had a better feel to it and i just loved having an rx7.

so this will stay with me awhile until i can trade it for either a turbo fb or a mint gsl-se

also, i never got pics of it, but there was a super clean s5 t2 in the shop, black, red recarro's and somewhat modded. the owner couldnt figure out what was wrong with it, it was just some leaky injectors. i was going to offer to fix it for free but he was kind of a real ***** to me at the time so i didnt even let him know that i know my way around an rx7.

he ended up trading it for a stock redtop sr.....

which caught fire the day after he swapped it into his s14 lol

LOL, its cool, just makes me laugh everytime I see your screen name and think of it. I also no longer have any interest in holding the meets. In fact I'm selling my car, haha.
