He left early--It was funny he pulls up at a car show,

pops the hood and hasn't cleaned a damn thing on the car--some funny ****.

loudazz what is your system made up of? I just won a local comp here in pa. They said i hit 146 db and even if you add 10 to yours thats 153 is it really that much harder to gain

7 db's? you saw my setup at the nj meet last year. Its no where near yours and all i did was tune it and remove all of the plastic from the back of the car.

At the stereo contest

there were alot of guys hitting 135 with only 1 12" sub---guys with 2 were hitting

The guy that was running the show had the new **** from db dragracing

I had never seen it before---small box about 3 inches long and he mounted it to your windshield---on every car not like usac,or iasca was doing with the mic like 12" from the dash.I changed up my system again.I wanted more sq than spl

Changed the hifoncs amps that were a zues 1500d,and a zeus z6400

to jl audio 500/1 and 300/4

I am running 3 jl audio 12w3v2 at a 2 ohm load---the amps are very clean and now I can compete in the 0-500 watt class and not the damn 1000 watt--up ****.

It not set up for the dbs I was hitting before,but it still hits hard as hell and is clean.

The funny story of that day was there was a club there from cove audio,the fabricators came late and were checking out my system and sub box,the guy says you should come see me I can get at least 5 to 10 more dbs out of your ****--pretty much dogn me.I look at the guy and ask-did you make the system in the timberon?--He says yes-and askes doesnt it sound great.I say not really.--with a dumb look on his face--he says why.I say well you have 3 15s and are running in the 501-1000 watt class--and I am beating him by 2 dbsI am am only running 500 watts (he hadnt seen the scores yet.)I say i think my set up is fine.--He just walked away.

That's funny ****. I sold my stuff i cant take all that bass. I just picke dup some cheap *** 8's so i still have some. I dont want anyhting over say 110 db.
