I was doing some more detail work on my dads new ride. I had the tires show mounted on the rims and the tire place didn't clean the glue and **** off the old rims from the balance weights. I take the first tire off and set-up to start cleaning it off and the finish on the inner part of the rim begins coming off

At a closer glance the idiots painted over perfectly good chrome, and did a shitty job of doing it at that, they just oversprayed the lip, I mean really why paint over perfectly good chrome

After 25 minutes with some steel wool and some Mother's polish things were looking up, Now I just have to do the other three

I was also surprised to notice that the rotors had a huge splined hole through the center, as well as the oil pan on the all alum. engine. Apparently they are the same rotors and oil pans GM uses on the Tahoes/Yukons/Escalades/Hummers and any othe hunk of **** that rolls of thier assembly lines.

HA HA yea I was a mechanic for a chevy dealership, it sucked nuts. Since I was the new guy I did a lot of recalls.... which sucked more then usual. Rotors on the malibu, 4wd switches on the blazer, windshield wiper timer on pretty much every truck. Yea, that was a shitty job and the dude that worked on the lift next to me would play that "we've come to stop the rooster" song all god damn day.
