lots of rotaries run 116 octane.



its race gas, nothing special bout it really, just gas with a high octane, resists detonation better cause it burns slower.

I have been using 100octane fuel, because there is no fuel under 95octane in Turkey but I haven't any problem my engine...

Well that's cool for 2 resons, first that is a great fuel to run on full time and if it doesn't cause damage that is even better, that car would be sad if it had to run on 85 like here, but I have been running 87 or better myself
