What A ******* Day!
#1
Well today was my first day off since I started work for a Dodge Dealership. But my boss asked me to come in to teach a few new mechanics how to drive a stick. These guys are very young and kinda into the ricer scene but anyway. He said he'd give me 100 quit if I do it. I said OK, and after I came in today I got a Neon and took them with me to an empty parking lot.
First guy got it immediatly, he mastered the stick in about 10 minutes and I was actually impressed.
Next two needed some more time and after about an hour of driving, buth got pretty good at it. They did stal the car a few times but that's part of the learning process right? Like you've never done it.
Now to the last dude. I swear to God, I wanted to beat the **** out of him the entire time we were in the car. Every one of us was pissed at him. The poor little Neon died about 30 times during 10 minutes of stop and kill driving.
He can't do ****. He can't feel the clutch, he can't ease into the gas, he's a moron. That poor damn car was brand new and now it feels like it's 10 years old. He cooked the clutch every time he tried to drive. The front tires look like they're drag slicks. ****, as soon as I was about to tell him how everything is supposed to work, he lets go of the clutch and the car dies.
I'm ******* furious!!! Finally I cursed him out and told him that he couldn't drive a stick nor learn how to drive one to save his own life. I said, "**** this ****, you'll kill the ******' car dude!"
I told him to get out and I took the guys back to the dealership. My boss asked me how it went and I just shook my head in dissapointment.
Sorry to vent this much, but driving a stick cannot be that ******* hard.

These guys are mechanics? How the **** do they do test drives or road worthy's?
That scares me....
That scares me....
I learned on my First 7. Took me about 20 minutes on my own. Then I switched to a 4-puck and got good at that. But when I drove a Protege I couldn't feel the clutch for nothing. It is so damn soft!!! Well after about 2 hours I have it down tight! Only stalled it when a cat crossed my driveway. Scared the hell out of me.
