I looked through that site and I think the only reason it exisits is the guy oves media attention, on a page about himself he has a bunch of links to times when hes been in the news.

 

i just went to the site. The whole site is him bagging on US Soldiers.

 

It's just ignorance. What the guy wrote in that statement isn't even completely correct. Military in the gulf are not the only ones getting payed tax free, all Americans do. The did expand the tax free zone to include the troops in Afganistan, but the Persian Gulf has been a tax free zone for at least 20 years now, before the first Gulf War. It is also not completely tax free, there is still something you have to pay, can't remember what it is though.
