i always look for that next great deal, even though i have 3 rx7's right now. but i always keep looking anyway.

i cant believe the prices on 1st and 2nd gens! there ******* crazy! and getting worse! stock TII's listed for $8000 here on cragislist...like 3 of them. 1st gens listed for 4-5000! and forget about gsl-se's....they must be made of ******* gold! NA FC's for 5k. convertibles for more!

im in orlando florida, theres a huge rotary following here. Kilo racing (Jesus Padilla) is 10 minutes from me. plus many other famous rotary builders.

im curious if the sky rocketing rx7 prices are getting crazy everywhere else too, or is this a Florida thing?

what do you think nice FC's and 1st gens are worth?

but i have also noticed, the price for 3rd gens havnt moved much...i bought mine in 02 for 13k. 80k miles, all stock real except for down pipe. i see that still around the same...

oh, i doubt any of these cars are selling either..cause they stay listed for ever. and when i list mine for sale every now and then. they offer you half your asking price. and i wanted to sell my 1st gen for only 1500...so where do people get the idea these cars will sell for those crazy *** prices!?!?

ehhhh.....

most of the cars around here are junk, but the ones that were $500 are now $1500, cause there arent as many around (they used to be everywhere)

a real nice car will still bring good money, or they did before the economy died.

a friend of mine sold a fully restored 53,000mile gsl-se for $9k, he could have gotten more for it too.

I think it is a result of the whole drift following thing. Damn Fast and Furious movies ruin everything.

I think the reason people ask big prices for the cars is that they've spent a ton on mods and hope to get some of it back. Of course, it rarely works out that way. I haven't seen much of a move on prices around here, but then the cars are getting pretty rare. Some weeks you don't see more than one or two in the local trader, and they're just 2-gen n/a's, and an occasional vert.
