What do you do that pays the bills?
Those problems aren't bad if you practice them more. You may want to try getting a supplemental textbook. The big commercial bookstores sell paperbook versions of old textbooks. They're published by Dover. They can be helpful since some books offer different approaches to the same topic.
I just didn't like it at Tech too much. I wasn't really into school too much that year. I probably just needed a break, but I was happy that I went back to NY. Now that I'm older I guess that being in a new place isn't so bad. At least I have a car now.

I will definitely follow up on that advice, thanks a lot! :bigok:

Again, thanks a lot for the advice.
To be honest, the only thing that comes to mind is cryptography. Now that is sweet.
Ever read Cryptonomicon? Neal Stephenson...he's awesome.

The NSA usually has internship programs for math/CS people that involve cryptography. At least they used to.
That would be amazing. I guess I should be worried about getting accepted to Tech first though!
I'm a f/t Medi-Cal Eligibility technician for the local county. I deal with people who expect free health insurance w/o client responsibilites. Then again, if they were capable of responsibility, I prob wouldn't have cases with 14 yr old moms or single parents with 7 kids (belonging to 4 different fathers). I also work p/t as the assistant manager for a Baskin Robbins. It actually all doesn't add up to much after taxes
I'm either gonna continue to brown-nose and become a Sup. or go back to school and get a doctorate in psych if all else fails.
I'm already 25

Look into that summer intenrship at the NSA. It sounds like it would be right up your alley.

But you do get to drive some nice cars.
