Hi Winger,

I don't think you want one of the 16 cyl EMD diesel engines as one of the pistons alone weighs about what a rotary engine weighs. Also they run a constant 900 rpm because they turn big alternators that in turn power four big electric motors that drive our ship. I'd say our quarter mile time from a standing start is around 4 to 5 min.(even slower than most Hondas!)

 

Fiberglass repair/customizing/warranty on boats, usually fix boats I can never ever afford, but with the labor rate at $105 an hour, its a very well paying job with alot of cash floating out there, I cut more school then I went to , guess Im paying it for now though, lol Maybe start my own business next year after I get a house, right now I need the fact that Ive been at my job for 5 years, and I owned my own detailing shop for 4 years before that.
