I really LIKE how the edit button goes away after a while... Not like "other" places where the damn thing is there for you to click, but then it tells you to go **** yourself...

I don't really know, I mean we all know this is over oil, and I think the funding is coming from high taxes on oil prices.... I'm kinda lost in the situation, I mean doesn Iraq even stand a chance? If we go to war, and theres a draft, I'm down to go though. Vets benefits for the rest of my life :bigthumg:

I don't like the idea of war, however no matter what we do it's inevitable.

i do agree that saddam has to go but i dont see the urgency, and i dont know if starting a war is a good idea. the other side of the coin is the the iraqis are being dumb, they could have made recepits that said they threw everything away and then we wouldnt have a leg to stand on. my friend raised the interesting point, how come we get to tell everyone what to do? its really no different than the city telling me i cant park my cars on my property (they did do that)

My sentiment exactly.

Plus, Iraq doesn't have any ICBMs. They can't get any missles over here. The only folks they can reach with their weapons are the countries that think we shouldn't be waging this war. Let it be their problem if Iraq gets violent.

It is also our sworn duty to protect our Allies, which is something most people don't think about. We have allies in the middle east, mainly Israel, which Iraq is hell bent on using against us, so it's our job to strike first this time. What are we going to do? Let them kill a few thousand people before we do ****, like 9/11. I say we go to war.

Everybody's saying that Bush is doing this for oil, but seem to forget that this war is ******* over our economy. Bush cares about industry, and there's few areas this war is going to help. Not to mention that he's going to need to be reelected fairly soon and a war isn't helping him for that either. I think there are legitamate reasons for going in, and also that Bush doesnt need to list them all out for the world first. The UN is as worthless as the League of Nations was, Sadaam has repeatedly ignored them and they've done nothing (So has Isreal actually, dont know whats going on there).
