Thumbs up

ok heres my problem. I (with luck) will be finishing an insurance claim in the very near future 4-21-04. My old insurance company would not pay out after a drunk driver hit me on my motorcycle. The drunk did not have enough insurance to cover my losses, so I decided to claim on my under insured/ no insurance clause. My losses because I had to change jobs because of it are over 30k in income.

Now I have a Fc project that I've been doing for a while now but the body needs lots of work and I have none of the body kit I want yet..Fc2000 kit

now the problem. 1. I have found an fc with the entire kit I want basically everything I want done on the outside of the car is done I even like the color. I know I will have enough to buy this when its done.

2. I really like Jayspec7's car and I'm pretty sure I will get enough to make a good offer to him for it.

now my question would you finish you 13b-re fc project (the friend of mine that shot himself would always push me to finish it.) with the newly found FC (the cost of buying the one I found would be just about the same as if I tried to fix the one I have). If I were to get this one I could most likely have it done and make a few races this seasion. Or jump and make a good offer to Jayspec. remember there is some emotion in the FC

ADDED: this is the Jayspec's if you weren't sure https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=33596

Man this is a tough choice. It all depends on your passion for the car. While JSpec's is a beautiful car, all of the fun of doing ityourself is already gone. If you are passionate about the FC I say keep it and go that route. If you are in dire need of a FD project and you bought the FC to quench your thirst then maybe JSpec's is the route for you. It all comes from personal choice and expense.
