Can you find out where the Woody toy came from? My son decided he wanted one at the last second, which we didn't get. So we put in the letter from santa that he would get it for his b-day (in January), and I haven't seen them for sale anywhere.

The toy I got is kind of like a stocking stuffer. It's not really a "toy". Just go to disney.com and visit their online store. Or go to any Disney Store. Should not be very hard to find a toy for him. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif

Boyo 6 up, 1 down

1. Noun. Boyo is slang for boy or lad or mate. Used mostly by English, Irish and Welsh males. (Maybe by the Scottish as well; but who can understand what those cunts are saying?) In the plural format, boyos can refer to a woman's breasts, especially if they are of immodest size.

Sorry to confuse you, let me dumb it down a bit for you so you can understand. I got a 3" Megan midpipe and a 3" high-flow cat... the midpipe will get cut and the cat will be welded in. Let me know if you would like me to draw a picture for you. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.gif

so basically you got a midpipe tooooo cut off the flanges and weld it onto the highflow cat?

why not just buy the flanges.

or would that be too smart for you?

or, get a highflow cat made for the car and not have to worry about flanges and mixing pipes? or is that wayyyy to technical for you?

kevin.

teknics 12-31-2006 02:35 PM

oh and back on topic for xmas my new fd got: street ported, cermet coated rebuild, t04r turbo setup, 850/1600 injectors, new rails, fpr, walbro, s/s omp lines, new pulleys (since the stockers were missing when i bought the car)

and my 89 t2 project got to go inside the new 24'x24' garage and get ready to put in the whole drivetrain, still aiming for 550-600rwhp at 25psi with meth injection, woooo. ill probably start this week sometime, should only take a few weeks, after all im building the entire thing from scratch and new aftermarket parts lol.

It was much cheaper and less trouble, for my wife, to get the midpipe and cat without the cat already in it, esp seeing the DP and MP were sold together for only $65 plus shipping. It will take me 10 minutes to do the work of measuring, cutting and welding. Thanks for your input though. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif

oh well a matter of saving money is a different matter then, i didnt know youd do the work yourself, most people dont. i fabricate stuff all the time for my cars.

in that case nevermind lol.

oh and one more thing my cars got for xmas, my 88 n/a got a new set of (4) 235/45R17's, man are the corners even more fun now, and once i put new bushings and toe-adjusters in the rear itll actually go straight and not instantly drift while turning right.

Oh and as for your "smart" idea... You would not be able to just buy flanges and a cat since that would be one short ass midpipe, not to mention the midpipe is not even a straight piece. You would still need 3" pipeing including bends and fab it all together. If you have any other "smart" ideas do me a favor just keep them to yourself. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.gif

Thanks.

Cool, It's good to see someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

teknics 12-31-2006 03:08 PM

i thought you meant you bought a direct replacement highflow cat and a direct replacement MP

i didnt know you meant a universal highflow cat, that was the miscommunication ;0)

and yea once i got a hold of a welder and practiced enough i got to fab all kinds of great stuff, since i already have lifts and floor presses and alignment machine and everything else i need at work it's like my own house of fabrication lol.

kevin.
