Went To A Hypnotism Show
#1
I went to a hypnotism show tonight at Comix Cafe in Rochester, NY. My dad was hosting the show (he's a comedian) so I got my tickets for free. I got some nice VIP treatment, too. "Oh, you're the Wiedmann boy...right this way.
The audience was pretty shitty, but that's usually how the Friday late show is. My dad's first 3 jokes got no response, but after that the audience finally started warming up. The hypnotist, J. Medicine Hat, came on stage and immediately told the audience how rude they were being, and that if they didn't want to be there we could just all go home. Not a good way to get things started, I guess.
He had a hard time getting volunteers to come up, and when he finally got enough and started putting them under, one girl started talking to everybody else getting hypnotized and ruined the whole ****, and one table in the audience couldn't keep quiet, so he kicked them all out and started over. It was a mess, but once things got started, it was funny as ****.
He only ended up with two people he could work with, so the show was fairly short, but it was still quite good. There was a big buff cop in the front who he picked on a ton, but the guy was a good sport. One part of the show was a bodybuilding contest, and he told the guy he hypnotized that the girl I was with was his *** judge, so he had to shake his *** in her face to win some points. I'm sure she loved that...lol. Then he said the cop was the crotch judge so the guy was shaking his junk in the cop's face, yelling "I'm going to *** on your face." Damn...what a riot.
After the show, I hung out with my dad for a bit, and it's pretty damn cool to be talking with him and have people come up telling him he put on a good show and whatnot. I also got to meet J. and he was really cool. He apologized for having to kick those people out, and apologized to my dad for the audience being so shitty. I told him it was still a kickass show and then we shot the **** for a while.
Anyway, enough rambling. If you ever see J. advertised anywhere close, go check him out...it's a great time. Oh, and if you ever see Mark Wiedmann advertised anywhere, let me know and I'll get you some free tickets if I can.

We have a small comedy club that has hypnotist come about twice a year. I think the guy's name is Gary Conley. It's great, I've been twice. The second time I volunteered to be put under. It didn't work on me but the girl next to me didn't remember anything and she was halarious!!!! I recomend going!
