Good news! The car is fine! It saw 30 PSI and lived to tell about it!

Cameron showed me a little trick to see if the engine is healthy. There was one Apex seal that might be very slightly weakened but far far from being blown. Cameron told me to just drive it.

So I went to Driving school today and every gremlin in the world was attacking my car. My car started to run hot. We pulled the thermostat and it was faulty we tried to run without it but the car got hot. While this was going on the car was running very weak. It drove me crazy it was a total dog!! Well a quick inspection under the hood revealed we never plugged the leading coils back in. I was driving on the trailing only! Once I plugged my coils back in the car ran like a raped ape!!

I am putting in a new Thermostat in the morning before our race.

BTW - Some one e-mailed a friend of mine claiming to be me and telling them their shop messed up my car by wiring in my boost controler wrong.

For the record I never said what shop it was. We also determined here that there is a bigger issue due to the car boosting so high with the boost controler turned off. So the only problem here is that I might have plummed my own boost controler wrong. My 30 PSI experience was of my own doing no one elses.

Good to hear the engine is OK.

Get the boost issue fixed and you will be even happier.

did u figure out what happened tot eh profec B?

because when the actuators fail they are suppose to fail safe and boost is then regulated by the spring on teh waste gate... i'm very interested in knowing what is up.

I have a apexi AVCR myself and just started to play around with it after my new clutch got broken in.

By the way kudos on CAPclutch.com

180 USD for a clutch that will handle 300 ft/lbs.

I think they are rebuilt Daiken clutches. they customer service is excellent. I told them my clutch disc got damaged and they sent another one through extra fast courier.
