Well, I think the Passat 1.8Ts were 150hp, not 180. Also a heavier car. The motor changed from 150hp to 180 last year, maybe 2 years ago. This car is just about as fast as my TII was when it was stock and running perfectly. Either way, this isn't a race car, its for commuting. I just needed a nice, new, turbocharged commuter car. This one fit the bill and for the right price.

I like the Jetta's. I bought an '03 myself. Don't drive it much but the heated seats are great!!!! My neighbor says that I have a used car lot out front... 4 cars for a single guy... Looks good man!

Yeh I have 3 cars here at the apt. including the soon-to-be-gone truck, plus 2 RX7s at 2 separate locations. I love cars, obviously.

I keep telling myself to buy a house with a garage but I keep finding cars instead... At least my FD is covered under a carport and a car cover... Still need a garage, I'm tired of keeping my huge *** tool box in the spare bedroom.

haha Vosko has his dad's van at the house? or is it a different van?

Baldy-it's red, the color gets orangy sometimes though...it's called Tornado Red. Also, Dr. Zoidberg is the best character on Futurama, hands down. "Casual hello. Zoidberg is acting nonchalantly" See my avatar for awesomeness.

I remember seeing that old Jetta commercial where the dude drags his wife outside to see him open the windows with the key (you know-turn the key in the lock to open the windows), and I went out and treid and IT WORKS!!!! LOL! I was so psyched! I am gonna wait till my wife comes home and drag her out and show her!
