i don't understand why you would quit unless you had a job already lined up. i do paperwork all day and hate it most of the time, but suck it up because of bigger and better things to come.. and that quitting a job, or gap in employment history looks bad on resume's.
im not trying to be a *****, but it doesn't seem realistic. didn't you just buy a house within the past year or two... have two or three new vehicles sitting in the driveway..
a good credit line is nice to have.. but can get you into lots of trouble..
unless you just have loads of cash

You can't know until you've been in the man's shoes. I agree with your statement, but I quit a shitty job several years ago. Yes, I was unemployed for several months, but there was never a doubt that I made the right decision.
