Honestly I dont think you need a loner car. With our resources here I could find you an entire TII drivetrain sans the engine.



Then do an RE swap with a standalone or have a Series 4 or 5 engine rebuilt and go fresh from there.

If I do the t2 swap then yea, like you say I think we could find the parts.



By stripping the AE I meant, stripping everything out of it and making a dedicated track type car LOL



I'm driving it tomorrow if I can ever get to sleep, it needs a bath, but I'll take you for a spin, actually pretty impressed with the streetport in it....



Who knows where I will do from here, need some time to think on things. Maybe one turbo track rx7 and one show car LOL

I posted this topic the minute I walked in the door, actually thought the guy was gonna decide not to sell it for a few. Flew home with it on the trailer... trailer towes nice at 85
