yea i am going to start learning to weld, i can do basic **** with a crappy mig we have at work.



still dunno if i need a tig or mig. i think tigs are only for aluminum?



meh ill figure it out when i really need it...aka when i need to build my downpipe and other ****.

I hear ya bro, when I was going through A and P school welding was one thing I hated. Some people can pick it up and do it with little training and others cant do a great job no matter how much they practice.

Welding was my favortie part of A&P school!



Those welds are looking good. Just practice, practice, practice....you get the idea

i think im doing alright considering its my second day...i guess. but each of those two sheets have two shitty *** beads that are right next to the ones in the middle. i was too dumb to realize "hey its not working right, i should stop"

my best advice, practice making puddles as long as you can before you even pick up a rod. Better yet: Learn OA welding first!

yeah we did OA for a couple weeks. for that we werent really given any advice, it was just "heres how you set it up, heres how you get a neutral flame, now start WELDONG!!!
