Seems like recently I'm getting phone calls from weird numbers. Yesterday it was a 410 number, registered to Verizon in Essex, MD. Today it was a 218 number registered in Duluth, MN. WTH is going on? I don't know anyone from those places and they don't leave messages. I rarely answer phonecalls from unknown numbers and area codes.

 

I always get wrong number calls to my cell phone, many of them weird area codes. But a lot of people come here from other parts of the country and keep their same cell phone, without changing anything.

 

OK, so I figured it out - my phone number is listed on the registration for a whois query for my website... d'oh!
