This weeks spirited drive left one FD paralyzed in a parking lot with a heater hose that popped off. This spilled coolant everywhere and cause a scary moment for one of our crew members. Smoke galore as he fell out of formation. Luckily he got over in time before it messed anything up and we were able to fix it in the pits, and we were back on our way.

Next we have a freshly painted FD. Hey its been 30 days and time to wax it, lets do a really good job! Whoops forgot to put the hood pins on. It also broke the windshield. Add another item to our to do list.

Yeah we really should of taken pics of that fiasco. How long did that take us? Started about 9 ended at 1:30ish? Stripped two bolts and finally got the biatch back on there.... Damned rx6 turbo was not being friendly. THEN he forgot to put the hood pins on. Although I bet with his new Momo steering wheel he felt like a "drifter" as the hood flew into the windshield.

I think Ben doesn't have so much experience with nuts, bolts, and studs. If it doesn't go FORCE IT!

And he said it did smell like muffins when it was baking on....I believe it turned out to be 5 hours to wrap a DP

Maybe you wrapped it with toilet paper instead of thermal wrap?

Hmmm...let me check...nope

I thought you guys were just putting on that steering wheel that night, otherwise I might've been inclined to stick around...had to go get that prescription filled. I actually saw and elderly couple do a hit and run on a Yukon at Wallgreens, and when I went and told the Yukon owner about it, he got all up in my face, as if he didnt hear the "I SAW" part of my story... what a Mr. Dumas.
