Not sure how this is gonna be received, but I just thought about this and wanted to write about it...
I work second shift at the office...watchin servers run etc...resetting the occasional password and every night at 9PM while I'm on this forum or otherwise goofing off, the cleaning lady comes in and vacuums and empties the trash. Normally this kinda pisses me off cuz I'm deep into reading the latest post or something and the vacuum is loud, and the lady is kinda chatty and annoying. Tonight she cornered me and started talking about how it's going to snow and how she wants to leave to pick up her two kids from the sitter blah blah blah. Somehow the conversation morphs into a discussion about finances and child support and paying a mortgage. I find out that this lady works like a dog, makes less than 8 bucks an hour (and she's the super.), has two kids and only gets $100 a week in child support from their deadbeat dad (I pay more than that for my 1 child per week!). Anyway, to make a long story...ahem...shorter, I started feeling guilty...and then lucky. I guess I just wanted to say that I realized that I have it pretty good. Sure I can't go right out and buy the SC I need to finish my project 1gen, but it IS my second car. I guess I do pretty well. I went to leave to check some things in the plant and picked up my nice wool coat, stopped, and realized all this. My little reality check and I thought I'd share it with you..hope ya don't mind.

That's cool, it's not the best way to realize it.
But it's nice to have someone reground you every now and then.
Her life may not be perfect, but atleast she's got something to teach you.

My 1st gen (GSLSE) is getting a Street port and a Supercharger + all the goodies. It's been sitting on jacks in my garage with the motor out for the past 6 months It'll be done soon though...the SC fund is almost full
