The War On Iraq
89 Rag, well stated.
If we would have finished the job in 91, we wouldn't have to be doing this, but we listened to the "world community". Mistake.
The French and Germans are afraid of what we will find when we get there. All the illegal weapons systems that have been delivered by clandestine means over the last 20 years. Also, all the oil contracts France and Germany have with Saddam become null and void when he is deposed. Lots of economic fears in those 2 countries.
I support this one. I supported Viet Nam and every conflict since. Had it not been for a high number in the draft lottery, I would have been wearing OD green.
I hope this one goes quickly.

IRAQ IMHO will be as quick as Afghanistan.
We are going in to save the people and remove
Saddam, but I think its going to be swift.....
I dont hold the US's great confidence in that most
of the IRAQ forces will surrender though.

That’s the dumbest **** I’ve heard in a long while. I’ve stayed out of this WAR crap for a long time waiting and reading lots of bullshit from people who don‘t understand anything about this situation. Why do you give a **** if France helps or not. We’re the most powerful ******’ country on this shitty planet and we don’t need any half assed support from the damn French. They have EVERY right to NOT support us, it’s called “Having ones best interest in mind”.
Any notice that more and more countries are joining in with the US since SADDAM decided to use cantraban weapons?
Just time before he uses BOL and CHEM weapons and then he will be in a world of ****, I just dont think he is dumb enough to use them before its the last resort.

I personally agree 100% with the war. Saddam needs to be taken out of power now before he can secretly increase his empire and do us more harm in the future. Protestors say that he doesnt pose a threat to us, maybe not in the sense that he will invade US soil, but in other ways he can do alot of damage in ways we dont know and we dont openly see. I'll bet that people would have protested if we would have gone into Afghanistan before 911, because they had done really nothing to us, but if we would have, maybe the WTC towers would still be standing. That is what we need to prevent. What pisses me off is these protestors. There was a carvan of troops headed to the airport a few days ago and these protestors hit some of the troops with tomatoes. Although some might not care, but we need to stand behind those our troops. I was in the first Gulf War and people dont know how it is. Here in the states people continue normal lives, watching cable, still eating at restaurants etc.. while those guys are fighting overseas.
Sorry for the long post, but just had to vent this out.
Thanks
