So i currently drive a 1996 Mx-6 V6. Its ok but its getting old. I wanted to get an rx8 but driving to work with all the big rigs would just damage it quick. So i am thinking to replace the daily driver with another used daily driver but I dont know what car to get. Any suggestions? It has to be manual trans, and at least seat four. Something newer than 1996 too.

Another one of your bright, likely stoned ideas...

IMO the best daily driver is a practical car without a ton of power. Benefits generally include good gas mileage, reliability, and fewer speeding tickets, not to mention a lower initial investment.
