You'd have to have some sort of gearbox attached - you'd never be able to turn a corner if you're just blowing air out the back.

lol... how you gonna set up a gear box to a jet engine? The power is from thrust.

If you want to turn, you turn down the thrust then turn. Its the same way jets turn.

Ok I just looked it up, because I've heard of tanks that use gas turbines like that, and how otherwise would jet helicopters work? Anyway, the turbines with gearboxes are called turboprops, and have a propellor instead of a fan.

That guy lives about 30 miles from me. He has (in order of newest projects to oldest) an 03 eclipse, Dodge Dakota, Datsun 280z, and 2 MR2s.
