Walking Out The Door To Pick Up My Truck
#13
Well i've got my tuning cut out for me. These carbs are all gunked up or tuned poorly. It will run good till the engine warms up then start spittering and sputtering, maybe leaning out, then finally dies after a while. They installed a new speedo when they did the restore, and the mileage reads 314.9, not bad for a 67. I also replaced the leather hood strap on the left side that was broken and need to adjust the drivers door so the hinges line the door up better.

I just got an idea. You could buy one more classic mini and fit three there.
Tell me how many times in the next week you walk up to the wrong side of it to get in. LOL!!

How much fuel is in the tank?? Go to Discount Autoparts and buy a bottle of this stuff called BLASTER fuel injector cleaner. It comes in a clear bottle and looks like cranberry juice. Put the whole bottle in the tank when it is really empty then drive it to the gast station at least 10 or so miles and put 1/2 of a tank in it. That stuff is amazing!!!
Its really nice looking. Makes me want to do the deal for the red one I showed you. Hmmmm.... Might just do it.

Thanks for the tip Jim, i'm gona go out in a bit and try to find that stuff. The tank is only a 6 gallon tank and it has maybe 3 gallons in it right now. I'm not sure if it will even drive for 10 miles, but I can let it idle for a while and drive it around the apartments.
You should buy one Jim, you'd have a blast I know.
75repu- Cool, didn't think about that!

This is the stuff. I didn't know your tank was so small I would pour this is and fill it up. Your gas might be stale too. How long has the car been sitting. Gas starts loosing its punch after 3 weeks.
