You've never driven the old ghia that I worked on, a VR6 power Passat or Golf then. Trust me, they're PLENTY fast.



VW has some of the, if not the, best engineers out there for piston engines. Heck they'd probably do Mazda a huge favor if they got ahold of them with their love of cool technology.



That W10 they are putting in their latest luxury sport sedan is nothing short of mind boggling. And of course they own Audi, Bugatti and Porsche. Heck they own NSU or what's left of them.



Then there was that 2 stroke diesel they were playing with . ...

yup...how do you think the "Audi" symbol came about? them 4 circles used to be "Auto union" the 4 major German brands that got togather...

I got a good spanking from a GTI in my vert, it either had a VR6, or 1.8T.

The 1.8T is one hell of an engine (for a boinger), with a chip, exhaust, and intake they'll make 200+ hp at the wheels.
