i was the one that broke the sunroof...

as you all may or may not know, vosko often times exagerates to make himself look perfect or cool to his "internet buddies," so it did not go down as exaclty like he says...

barely coming out of the parking lot, i undid the two front latches on the sunroof. that alone would make it near inpossible for the damn things to fall out or even pop open... being that we were both drinking (yet neither of us was actually extremely drunk) i was a little overexcited to get the thing out, so i was trying to convince vosko to show me how to get the rear unlatched(at this time, we are still on 25mph residential roads)... so, we're about to get onto rt.287 (speed limit 65mph), when vosko pops the rear of the sunroof up, yet doesnt unlatch it... this leaves the front completely detached, and the rear up and only attached by the small prop/bracket that supports the rear... now we are on 287 going at or excedeing the speed limit... the sunroof is fluttering in the wind as i try to hold on to it and convince vosko to pull over... well, vosko refuses to pull over... this goes on for a couple of miles when the sunroof catches wind bad, and bends my fingers all the way back, thus forcing me to let go... by the time i look back, the sunroof it dust and my hands hurt like a bitch...

admittedly, this is my fault, and i am taking responsibilty to pay for the replacement...

just pisses me off that vosko needs to post every little detail on his forum, abeit modifidied to make it look as though he is a hero...i guess you guys should feel special that he cares that much about your opinions over someone he has known and has been there for him much longer...

and about how much this sucks for vosko... he never had to drive the blazer with a bag taped to it. he just borrowed another spare car from his family... hardly an inconvenience... vosko's not hurting from this, in fact, i think he is happy that he getsa brand new piece of glass...

thanks vosko!!!

oh, and if any of you actually get to read this before vosko deletes it/banns me... save and repost... youd be doing him a favor, giving him a dose of reality...

Dude, can I ask one question?

Who cares? I highly doubt anyone cares who exgerated or not. It if was such a big deal, vosko be complaining more about this entire subject (That i know **** about) .. but you seem to be the one that's whining more. Give it up dude, grow up first off... LOL it's just a sunroof.

I think you need a dose of reality too - does it matter what vosko says? No. Why let it bother you?

i think we are entitled to the what really happened. when people embelish and exaggerate thats when things can go really long. In any aspect of life not just to the sunroof. It can be applied to everything that we do in life

And.. how do you know this hasn't been exgerated?

Geesh, Id on't really care because I don't know the full story, but why worry over spilt milk? If you're gonna judge someone by this, then so be it... I find this very stupid.

Not to mention, people take words said on the internet too seriously - something could have been worded wrong, etc.

Anyway, flame me all you want, I don't care.... =/

no im just saying in general i didnt read the whole thing but i know that when u exaggerate things can go WRONG , i wrote long before im sorry. I dont know what really happpened but im saying i would imagine vosko would care what people on Np.com think of him and i think he would exagerate things to make himself sound "coooler" and i know u defend vosko and what not but im not bagging on him im just saying that Exaggerating things is never good only to emphasize the importance not to change ideals about yourself or what really went down thats all im saying..

yeah, i dont really care all too much about this particular incident... its no big deal really, and as i mentioned before, it was ultimately my fault...

i guess it just bothers me that i know the real jon voskinarian, and you know the cool, infallable vosko, that deletes posts that detract from his cool reputation and with the limitless credit line only exceeded by the line of bullshit that sometimes spews from his mouth...

really though, i am friends with vosko, and hopefully he can take this with as much humor as i am...

after all, this is only a internet forum, right?
