I'm actually checking out this skype thing and it's kick-ass - I'm always calling the UK about the kit and it's going to save me a bundle!

Ive been using skype for almost a year now, calling all over the world and its great. Whats even better is if the person youre calling has skype you dont have to pay anything. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

The military uses it all the time. Ours have a bit of lag and aren't all that clear. Thats probably just shitty Army technology though?
|
With skype, when I call any of the baltic states in the EU its actually faster and more clear than using the regular telephone. Stupid army technology :-p

LOL i figured, cheap bastards.

I think I may be looking at the wrong Skyip deal...I looked at one and it seemed like an alternate system to DSL or cable...
Josh, so you think it will NOT work on cox cable or they don't want you to do it? Also was looking at Lingo.com and Vonage.com anyone have any reviews on those guys? |
It should work, after all, its just packet switched telephony. However, you're having cox run your phone, which I dont think they'd be happy about. They'll tell you to go buy their digital phone package
