eyah i was going to do it today but woke up late and by the time i hit up autozone to get a few more stuff it it now a lil late. And i gotta go to Long Island now and meet up with DRFT1kd and two other rx7 guys who need some parts off my black RX-7. Then i gotta get a cut so by the time im ready it will be dark outside. I guess ill do it tomorow morning early and ****.
I was thinking of drivng the car on two ramps and putting two jackstands to hold up the front then jacking up the back and putting two jack stands as well and some bricks under the tires to keep the car leveled. I also bought an extra jack to lower the tranny and raise the other one. I also bout gear oil, engine oil, and a 24inch extension bar to get to those pesky tranny bolts. So i guess im set
Only question, where is the best place to put the car on jackstands

In the front, right at the bottom of the firewall, that black, framelike crosspiece.
In the rear, about even with the door there is a place to put stands too, way out near the edges so there is enough room to slide around on a creeper.
Edit: I have a vert, so the placement in the rear might be a little different on a coupe model.

Its only in first gear for my car. But yo it feels liek theres something LOOSE in there. At certain times when im shifting into second i can feel it interupting second gear, and other times theres almost no chattering when going into second. This sucks. Going to try to wake up early tomorow and check it out..

EDIT: IM going to put the other tranny in tomorow (or try) and umm can i fix the other tranny on my own by putting a new INPUT shaft BEaring? and then i have a spare tranny =)
