Thats why I don't want to take my car autoXing... Too scared to lose it. My first guess was he just lose traction from going in to the corner too fast.

Well..... If you really want to know.



R-Compound tires are stickier than street tires, with less tread. When you're getting ready to lose it on a street tire, you'll get plenty of warning before the car is lost. With R-Compound tires, the traction threshold is higher, but the breaking point is also more abrupt. That guy obviously thought he could push it around the corner. He Obviously was going very fast. He lost the car to a tail slide, all of a sudden, and couldn't recover. So he was racing around on R-Tires and he found the traction threshold, then broke it. That means 'Bye bye vette'.

Or...........maybe.........He's a shitty driver?

Should have down shifted, kept the tires spinning, re-corrected the spin, and pulled a nice

slide around the corner...oh...wait, its a vette.
