i'm retarded, the other post was supposed to say "RX-8" not "RX-7"



so, motor trend says it will be supercharged while road & track says it will either be supercharged or hydraulicly turbocharged...



if they use forced induction, i'd buy one for sure.

who cares if the drivetrain wont handle it that just means dont buy it the first year its out wait till the factory recalls and changes trannys. i say more power the better just rule of thumb never buy a 1st year model of any car. let them pan **** out b4 u spend ur money.



question. hydrolic turbocharging?

maybe they will put the 5 speed in there, the jdm 210hp 5 speed cars use the fd tranny.

Most likely mazda will upgrad the transmission. Remember, they want the cars to SUCCEED.

they upgraded the drivetrain in the FC when they added the turbo, i'm sure they would do the same 15+ years later...

a lil off topic, but are Rx8 selling well? I went to a mazda dealer to look at a mazdaspeed and there was about 40 rx8s there
