Unique T2's Car!

I think it needs an Ito rebuild! Actually, if the engine stops smoking when I replace the turbo seals, I'll try to get more power out of it the way it sits, but if not, chances are it'll be getting rebuilt and ported next winter and I'll have another smokey summer.
As for the money I have into it, the turbo has been rebuilt and upgraded, the front calipers are new, and that's pretty much it as far as semi-major money. I guess these cars are reliable after all!
As for the wheels, they're on their way out...Enkei RS5s on the way, probably...unless someone can suggest something better.
The cost of the paint was insane when my car was painted...1 year before the paint hit the market. My car was pretty much a test car for the BASF paint, because the guy I bought it from had some sort of deal with them through his detailing shop. Back when it hit the market (at least 4 or 5 years ago) the paint cost $850 a pint, but it's come down considerably since then, which is good because I need to get some of it. :bigok:

I like the color change, but I always see fuscia to teal. Can you have the same effect with, say, black to silver? That would be rad.

Actually Ed's car has a few other mods now, mostly sitting in this huge box in the front of my garage. You can actually see the spark plugs now.
Ed understands when I say "Hey what's the black thing in the fender?"

It gets plenty of cold air now...lol. I think when I come down this weekend I'll turn it around (before we get tons of snow) and put it up on jack stands. Gotta get ready for the brake/suspension/clutch/tranny/turbo work that's soon to come!
