1. Change to unlisted phone number

2. Hire GOOD financial advisor and accountant

3. Set up trust funds for children

4. Come up with financial plan to allow for living off interest/dividends of the money without blowing the principal.

5. Start up a couple of businesses







You will find countless studies of the "Nuevo Rich"

In them the common thread is, that when you go out and immediately buy the trappings of being rich you will find yourself broke. Learn to live within your means first.



In the first post the indivdual immediately squandered over 5 mill (50%) of his money, leaving only 5 mil for critical mass to earn future income with. Bad planning!!

 

I don't know about you, but I think I could live a very long time off the remaining 5 million even at a low low interest rate you'd have over 150,000 income a year with out touching the 5 mill... :yum:

 

I'd definately be ****** some movie stars... That's for sure.

 

Not much would change for me right away. I would consider quitting the job at UPS, but it is good exercise. I'd still finish school...I just wouldn't have to take out so many loans.
