that would be very easy to do with a V-8 considering the the S/C is mounted between the heads. you would have to use a pully set up like an A/C compressor to be able to shut off the S/C at whatever psi or rpm.

Not with the newer centrifugal superchargers! IIRC, only roots-type blowers mount to the intake manifold.

Yes sinful I'm aware of that...I was a V-8 guy myself before I moved to japan an had my eyes opened

Rick Dobbertin did it in the early 80's with a big block cheeby(?) two whipples(?) and 2 turbos.
