A recent post by an esteemed member got me to thinking that I really need to get some kind of heat shielding on my turbo. Being cheap, I immediately checked out ebay and found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-T4-Turbo...sQ5fAccessories

Anybody have any experience with these? What other options do I have for that kind of money?

And oh yeah-- Will it fit my stock Hitachi?

A t3 unit will loosely fit a stock turbo.

Those units on ebay are cheap and will fall apart very quickly. I know someone you tried one. A good one costs a lot.

We sell them

I do however have something nicer coming out soon...

Yeah, me too. That guy says they're lifetime warranteed! And it's not like my car sees all that much use. I see Jeg's sells a turbo wrap kit too.

Its in the material construction.

I can sell you one robo, however I would prefer to sell you something better;

These inconel heat-sheilds are obviously more expensive, but they allow the proper cooling of the turbine housing. The heat-blankets don't..

I will be discontinuing the blankets soon..

Here is what I use... They pop rivet right to the bottom of your hood, you cut the hole and have a blast of cool air anywhere you want it.
