My car has been sitting for a while waiting for the engine to get complete , and it was parked under trees and sapp is all over the hood and hardened. How can i get it off with out ruining the paint.

Is there anything they sell to remove this stuff.

there's some stuff made by Turtle wax called 'Bug and Tar Remover.' 3M also makes an Adhesive/wax/tar remover, but it'll take the wax right off.

go to auto zone or wallmart, they have some kind of spray called bug and sap removal. It's green bottle with spray nozzle. It removes it right up.

The stuff that 3M makes is great, it comes in a red/white canister and takes glue and **** right off. We use it at work on the cars that come from oversees to take off the glue marks left by the plastic covering the cars. It's called Acrosol or something like that, a hardware store should have it.
