I like to drive. Last summer I drove over 5000 miles in 10 days. I don't like the bus, but I love to fly. I'd try the train, but there isn't a station close to here.

we have an interstate right through our town, and I hardly even use that. I've never really been out of the southeast (except a school trip to DC), I've never been on a train, and I've never been on a plane that held more than 12 passengers (and that was only twice). But I'd absolutely love to travel if I had the option.

I have only ridden on one train, it was cool though.

I will never do the greyhound bus thing unless the fate of humanity hinges upon me getting on a bus...

After some training at Fort Jackson Army base in South Carolina, I had a few days of leave before I had to fly to Japan and report in so I took a greyhound to my home in Lexington KY. It was 550 miles if you take the interstate/highway route... 24 HOURS LATER I GET HOME!!! We stopped in every po-dunk one stop light town in SC, NC, TN, and KY. I started smoking again on that trip just cause the bus driver would stop at all these exotic locations and smoke a cig and wait for no one to show up...

Oh and this young chick was painted up like Marilyn Manson. And of course she sits next to me. To make matters worse she puts her hand on my crotch! Then she starts crying and moves to another seat when I pushed her hand off me. I thought she was going to cry wolf or something. The sad thing was, after boot camp and training I was horny enough to tap this Manson looking bitch right there on the bus!

I would rather step on my own ******* twice than get one a greyhound bus again

LOL. thats just wrong...

ive bussed twice. take the train for 30 min ride to NYC. and either fly or drive everywhere else. i rather spend a few dollars more for airfare than ride the train.

ohh and rode the shinkansen when i was in japan

I like the train for short trips (2-4 hours) I like to drive, but if I'm going from one city to another sometimes the PITA of parking makes the train an easy decision.

Priced out a longer trip to see the family and the train was the same price as flying! 2 days in a chair on a train versus 4 hours on a plane was pretty easy decision. To get a bed would have cost twice the airline ticket.
