Trains!

Hello everyone! I just got back from a little family vacation to Strasburg, PA to see Thomas the Tank Engine. Peep! Peep! The boys had a great time. My wife and I did our best to keep up. They had a neato train museum with all kinds of great engines, and a toddler amusement park. How much fun is that?
If you've never been to Amish country, that was pretty neat too. Seeing people dressed in black driving horse and buggy down the roads. Even some 4-horse teams pulling hay wagons. Picture perfect little farms everywhere! Clotheslines! Women mowing grass with push mowers in bare feet and skirts! A remarkable place. Kind of reminds me of time travel. A seriously beautiful place, with perhaps 10,000 too many tourists for it to be really peaceful.
Carry on. And remember, Sir Topham Hatt says "You are a really useful engine!"

Damn, before i moved to florida I lived about a 30 minute ride away from Strasburg. This post made me think about the many times I went to that museum. Want to make your vacation a bit more intristing. Try to find some of the old abandoned railroads in the area.

Where the **** is Strasburg?
I'm sick of trains. I work right along side Steamtown National Historic Site. God damn things get my truck covered in soot when they ride by.
It's just east of Lancaster, just south of Route 30.
And since you like trains so much, here ya go!
