I found myself in one of those somewhere out in the panhandle of OK or maybe even New Mexico. Picture me with my Wife, my Mother and her two kids all asleep in the car at about 4 in the morning....as I drive around the roundabout about 6 times to amuse myself.

They have them in KW now???

When I was in Germany they had been changing to them for a few years in more rural areas, and most people really liked them too. For lower traffic areas it makes good sense.

We have a few around here. I see the main problem as idiots who don't know how to use it properly. They'll stop before entering, check to see if any cars are coming, then enter the roundabout. Defeats the whole purpose.

LOL Nice, just like in National Lampoons European Vacation?

And what's this silly talk about a Roundaboot? It's called a "Traffic Circle"

Also, judging by how poorly people drive in these circles, I'd say me and my car are better off at a light that tells people when to move.
