i came across this http://charlotte.craigslist.org/car/746244921.html i have a 2000 civic si that i have no use for, should i trade it for the clean t2 i mean i can always find me another civic if i wanned to

depends on how much you have into your civic and what it is worth



the car looks clean, has been repainted, seats look like vinyl covers not leather.

price is strong, me personally I would not pay more then $4000-$5000 TOPS for that car

No, that's the original leather, it's just gooped up with something shiny. The grey leather on my '88 looks the same, it's just not shiny like that.



EDIT: Never mind. I see he says the seats were re-upholstered. Looks very much like the original.





To trade or not? Depends on how much you want a 10AE. I think it's a fairly nice car.

original AE seats had some kind of symbol in the leather, thats the first sign, you also cant get

that look with leather, you can goop it up all you want it aint gonna shine like a black plastic garbage bag

i dont have much in the civic im asking 6k for it bout my cost is way less that that i sent him pic still dont hear from him

even if it was an even trade ill do it bout i have to drive the t2 firts

From a purely enjoyment standpoint I'd say this is a no-brainer. Will he trade straight across? If so I'd sure do it. Especially if you have another DD.
