Hi,

I'm a new here https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

It is been almost one hour that I'm surfing on this forum. I really like the Kill forum!!!!

I don' have a rx7 yet but I will get one soon.

I don't really know if I'm going for a 1 generation or 3 generation (different price, different spec...!!!) The 1 generation was my first pick but now I'm considering to have take a 3 generation.

Anyway, here is my question:

What is the difference between touring, R1 or R2?

I'm been looking every were and I'm just not sure.

Is the 3 generation all twin turbo?

Sorry if it looks like any easy question for you guy but I don't really know a lot about 3 generation.

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

Maxime

Yes, 3rd gen is twin turbo.

R1 is the racing bred 93

R2 is the racing bred 94+

Touring is the More luxurious. Sunroof, cruize, leather, BOSE.

But there is also the base. Which is pretty much a light touring...

And there is the PEP(94 Touring... I believe.)

Just get an FD.

They ALL rock

There are no "head caskets" or even any head gaskets on a rotary motor. Only on a piston motor. What problems are you having?

Welcome to the forum guys. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

From my experience rotor's don't have head gasket, but the guy could mean that the seals that go from the rotor housings to the front, centre and rear plate could be leaking fluids (eg. Coolant or water)

yea his coolant seals are shot, he told me he's leaking prestone.
