First off robot, Your FC was a show. A perfect example of how most FC's are :trashed.
Your car had so many bugs you barely even made the event..
Secondly, It's not like your car is a collectable. I see FC's all over the place. Give me a break., Your first point was good but it lost steam man.

You were goin off saying how the NA FCs would get smoked by a volvo. What I was trying to say was that if you took the turbos off of your car, it would be the same situation for you. I know what you mean by saying it would be stupid to take off the turbos, but I'm just stating that point. I doubt a volvo could smoke a TII.
As for the money argument again what I biffed on saying was that you buy a 3rd gen for what now? The cheapest I usually find worth buying are around 10-12K. ANd that's just for buying the car. Now lets say that you find a TII worth buying, probably about 5K, and you drop an extra 5K into it to match the 3rd gen and I would guess that you'd have a pretty good race on your hands.
In any case, the 3rd gens are 2X maybe 3X as much as the TIIs are. I would hope that they would be able to beat them.
I'll put my wives volvo up against Robots FC anyday of the week.

The only reason FDs are such "collectibles" is becuase they were too expensive and no one wanted to buy them. I'm not tryin to say that FDs aren't a bad *** car; what I'm tryin to say is that they're not all that they're cracked up to be.
BTW what kind of race are you talking about? A drag or a road course race? If you go to Auto X events you'll see many a FCs smoking the FDs out there.

Robot implied that his car is rare, since he is glad to be only one of a few , while the fd's are numerous. I laugh at that.
Race, I'm talking about me whoopin on Robot or you if you care to bring your *** on to Maryland. I have been challenged and now Im meeting that challenge and telling you guys to put your money where your mouth is.
