I can't sleep so I'll make this post now, it's storming here. That said, I didn't take a whle lot of pictures, I think Mitch and Kraig did so hopefully they'll have some pics to add, I spent most my time bullshitting.

First off, University Mazda put together a great event, many forum members present, I'd say 75% of the people there were Nopistons members LOL Chris Wayne the general manager bought his 3rd gen and his vert, the vert had 30,000 miles on it and it looked like it had less, if you're looking for a dealer that's got a passion for rotary and wants to see it back for more reasons then turning profit University has got it. They put on a great show of all the various gen rx-7's, had an rx-8 on the rack, one with the wheels off and a 13b yanked from a 3rd gen (LOL don't think that was for our benefit). So thanks to Chris Wayne and all the other powers that be at University Mazda for a great evening and TONS of food, dessert, coffee, the works I think the UM employees will be having a lunch tomorrow on it as well.

I came home with a very nice leather jacket and an RX-8 book, great quality. I think everyone won something or close too it, they had a lot to give away. Met Dave Randall of the Rotary Rockets of Washington, http://www.rotaryrocketswa.com and look forward to getting together with them in the near future.

Like I said before an all around great thing for a local dealer to do and I would be more then happy to be involved in any future events they plan on having.

Oh yea and thanks to UM for detailing my car, the inside was as clean as it's ever been, they should have used the XM radio for the background tunes though
