youd be surprised how much that would help in everyday life. the cop who pulled you over would have probably been a lot more open to giving you a warning or at least reducing the alleged speed if you didnt look like a "punk kid"

Actually the guy was NICE to me and i was RESPECTFUL and i didn't kiss his ass, I simply asked a few questions about the ticket openly and honestly, it was a simple "You were giong too far above the limit, you weren't being reckless sir but that's just too fast." I replied with a simple "Okay, how much is the ticket, when do i go to court? what can i do?" he actually gave me information that if the judge lets me do diversion, to do it. There was nothing more involved, it took maybe 2 minutes. There was no "YESSAH YESSAH!" about it, just "you did this, this is how it is." and i said "Ok, so be it." and all i want is a few tips on what to do about presenting myself and hoping it doesn't go on my record, as simple as the traffic stop was, and I'm asking just as simple a question. There is nothing more to it.

The cop wasnt bieng cool with you by telling you you have the right to appeal. Its policy in most states to explain the process of appeal.

I gave you sound advice, walk into court and throw yourself at the mercy of the court. There are no "tricks" that YOU CAN AFFORD, tricks involve lawyers which involve money. Since you have no money you should have thought about that BEFORE your young-ass was speeding. I gave you the same response we gave the junior enlisted in the military. THINK ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR STUPIDITY BEFORE YOU ACT STUPID.



My Father told me the same thing when I called him up to bail my dumb-ass out of Jail. Sucks being there until the judge off his ass, cause you/me were too stupid to have enough cash to cover the bail for the stupid acts committed.

One of my mates was caught doing 50kms over the limit, and here that means the following -

-Instant $1200+ fine

-Instant lose of licence (3-6 months)

-Impounded car for 28 days (when you collect it have to pay for storage fees and towing costs)



Edit: I forgot to mention that all this happens on the side of the road and you find your own way home from here. My mate asked the cop for a ride and the cop said 'Im going to central so if you want a ride in, your staying there for the night'. He refused the ride.
