Ticket Opinions

ok i want yous guyses advice on something. i got a ticket a couple of weeks ago and while i was looking it over today i noticed that in the box where it says the speed i was going it says 76 in a 60. now i really was going that fast but in the box where they write out the actual violations it says "speeding 10 percent above posted speed limit" which would mean i was going 66, which lowers the ticket cost like 40 bucks. do you guys think i would be able to get it knocked down to the lower cost?

well i called and the girl that i talked to didnt seem like really knew what she was talking about but she said that they always go by the alleged speed box with the numbers instead of the violation box with the words. thats probably not right but its only 40 dollars, plus im doing defensive driving for it which knocks it down to $95, and i think that may be a flat rate for any violation elegible for dd, so it wouldnt really help if it was 6 over or 16 over.
oh well i tried.
oh well i tried.
