I'm still not sure yet if I should do it or not. I've had the FD for about 2 years and its been in the shop for 6 months (probably more.)

I stumbled upon the Porsche today on my way home from the library. Its really clean. The mileage is kinda high though (70,xxx).

What do you guys think?

if you think fd's are unreliable or expensive to fix you don't want a porsche https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

Good point.

my mom's friends have 3 porsches they do road racing OMG.... blown engines here. just everything breaks on them and its super expensive..... why has your FD been in the shop six months ?

Benny 08-23-2003 04:45 PM

im gonna say no. keep the fd.

Vick 08-23-2003 04:45 PM

Various reasons. The motor blew unexpectedly and I didn't have the funds for the rebuild until recently.

Boxters are reliable so far as I know.

That being said take everything you've done for the FD and double it or more https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

FD's aren't cheap. Porsches REALLY aren't cheap
