I'm toying with the idea of selling the beast...but don't know where to set the asking price for it. I haven't driven it in 2 years, it's still in the shop being reconstructed and i've kinda lost interest in it now. All of the mods would be completed before i sold it of course..

Chassis has 80Kmiles on it.. 1994 Base, originally Silverstone Metallic

points of interest:

Streetported 20B w/ GT42R single turbo Zero miles on it

UIM, LIM, Intake piping, and exhaust mani extrude honed and ceramic coated

Motec M800 ECU with advanced data logger/ digital dashboard

assorted autometer secondary guages (motec displays everything also)

tube chassis front end

full cage that ties into the tube chassis & side impact bars

19 gallon Fuel Safe fuel cell

inertia switch to shut off fuel pumps incase of wreck

10LB halon system

5lb handheld halon bottle

JimLab diff bushings

Moyer rear control arms

SDA front brake ducts

Stoptech front brakes

99 spec rear brakes

Butler aluminum racing seats

H&R 5 point harnesses

I/O port camera mount

dual Mocal 25 row oil coolers (massive)

no rubber hoses on the car..all replaced with SS braided hose and -AN fittings

side exit exhaust system with provisions for a rear exit exhaust also

all interior removed, aluminum door panels and dash installed

custom V-mount intercooler set-up

custom MONSTER radiator

A/C, P/S and everything else that isn't 100% needed is removed

pettit underdrive main pulley

Greddy underdrive alternator and w/p pulleys

newly rebuilt transmission with close ratio 5th gear

SDA front splitter

Reinforced Mazdaspeed GT-C nose

Mazdaspeed vented hood

KS KD-1 flared front fenders

Pettit flared rear fenders

Rotary Extreme rear diffuser

Mazdaspeed rear wing with extended uprights

Pettit FG rear hatch w/ Lexan window

Re Amemiya sleek headlight kit

Racing Hart rims 18x9/18x10

The car hasn't been dyno'd yet since it's still being put back together at the moment. My goal was/is 2200lbs & 600 rwhp on pump gas.

It will have a fresh paint job on it after the pettit flares and front fenders go on it.

Any ideas where i should start my asking price if i do decide to sell it?

yeah, unfortunately the car is modified so heavily that MOST people couldn't use it. It's a 99% track only car at this point... that still has license plates on it.

dont be so quick shannon...

its this reason why youve lost the interest... give her a run on a course once your done..

that interest might just come back.. if not.. im interested in the pretty much everything youve got there..

Thet thar be crazy talk, boy! Most people would give their left nut for a car like that. You'll only get a fraction of what you've got invested. Unless you're strapped for cash, keep the beast in the garage and fire it up for trips out to get a Sunday paper and the occasional track day.

yeah, i've given my left nut building the damned thing! I'm planning to be over here in Iraq for another year and a half also.... w/ 2 short vacations during that time period. So, i might get to drive it once(??) before 2008.

Who knows, i might hold onto it just long enough to do the One Lap of America with it next year then sell it............or part it out.

that's where you're wrong Ronin.... after 9 1/2 years with this car... the magic has kinda worn off... it's just a 12 y/o car now that's worth a fraction of what i've dumped into it.

I'd much rather build my new house at this point.
