For a brief period I pondered the role that society plays on our developing of self. For example we can eat cows, chickens, goats, etc.. but not dogs, cats, horses, etc... This is because society finds that behavior unacceptible or is it?
Huh?
Oh wait. Hold on. I gotta go cook another steak for my cat...

my favorite question to always ponder is if we really have free will or not.
as a catholic, i was raised to believe that god is omniscient. however, i was also taught that i have free will. it doesn't add up to me how it can be known what i will do before i do it, and still be making a choice.
oh well, it kills time

i know the feeling. It really ties into your belief in fate. I have thought on this topic and have a hard time believing in it.

I dont like religion, but it doesnt mean i dont believe in something. Most of it seems like a scam or plot to me.... Like if i do so and so its a sin and im going to hell.... I've seen how much people put in those donation plates and its SCARY. At one time ive seen many people put in $400 checks into that ****, including some of my family. Mostly that turns into what i ponder sometimes, and then i ponder how obvious it seems that the meaning of life itself is to reproduce and keep your race going, and everything else is kinda on the side....... And everything i ponder ties together and then i really space out and go blank...
Also over religious people are douchebags.
