Things to do in Orlando
I'm going to Orlando for a business trip in Jan and I'm looking for some things to do in that area. Prolly don't wanna do Disney World, or anything too pricey, but I'm open to ideas. I'll be there with two co-workers; one guy my age and one chick twice my age. We all need to be able to go together.
Well, disney world can be pricey, there's always universal orlando city walk, its free to get in and wonder around, but they charge ya to do any of the rides and ****. I've only been there to catch a concert at the hard rock (nice venue btw). you've got sea world of course, hmmm. There's usually plenty of concerts and what not going on, ticket bastard is prolly the best bet there, I dunno if you guys can agree on music or not, but worth a shot.
i honestly havent been to disney world i 19 or 20 years, so i have no clue what it's like now.

Go to Disney village, and look for it. Maybe head across the way to hous eof Blues for a few drinks first.
I have not been there is a few years but its worth the admission. There are 5 floors of Video games, once you pay the admission you play for free. From Pac Man to modern cutting edge technology virtual reality games. Something for everyone.
We took our son there many years ago when he was about 8 years old and we spent 10 hours in there.
If you want to stay on I-Drive
Go to Wonderworks its science and its fun.

Adult style stuff in the evening, while City walk is pretty cool its really touristy.
Go downtown Orlando and start at Chuch Street Station, then work you way further into where to locals go.

Jan 15th - 20th. I have a conference on the 17-18. Decided to come early and stay late 'cause I need a vacation and work will pay for my flight!
I am game for meeting up for some beers/drinks on the weekend. Your about 1.5 hours north (obeying the speed limit) of where I am.
Maybe a NP bar meet?
Friday the 18th is Toad the Wet Sprocket at H.O.B.

Anyone game for meeting up and taking in a show?
There is a great Piano bar near by where we can go after the concert and terrorize the poor piano players afterwards.
